Fees
2019 Fees for water and wastewater utility customers are effective April 1, 2019, (reflected in the June 30 second-quarter utility billing).
Water and Wastewater Base Rates remain the same as in 2018 at $153.00 and $137.50, respectively, per quarter per Single Family Equivalent (SFE) as billed quarterly. Changes in water consumption rates are in bold, below.
The Water Consumption rate for a Water Using Unit with un-metered water service shall be $250 per SFE per quarter.
Water Consumption Rates for commercial/mixed use properties remain the same as in 2018 with Tiers 1, 2 and 3 at $1.50 per 1,000 gallons.
Water Consumption Rates for residential use properties are:
Tier 1 - $1.50 per 1,000 gallons for 0 to 12,000 gallons.
Tier 2 - $3.00 per 1,000 gallons for 12,001 to 20,000 gallons
Tier 3 - $6.00 per 1,000 gallons for 20,001 gal. and over
Other fees, such as those for Bulk Water Permits, declined credit card and insufficient-fund check fees, penalties for tampering with water meters and other fees not associated with usual water service remain unchanged.
Tap Fees
2019 Tap Fees are as follows:
- Water tap fee $7,700 - see the Fraser Town Code for multipliers
- Wastewater tap fee $7,500 - see the Fraser Town Code for multipliers
As a reminder, the Town of Fraser does not charge a property tax to cover system operations and maintenance expenses; these expenses are paid with fees.
