Help maintain and enhance our Town streets, parks, public buildings, and infrastructure and receive training on light and heavy equipment use. As a valued member of our public works team, you will serve the community of Fraser and develop valuable skills along the way.
Assists in the operation and maintenance of the Joint Facilities Wastewater Treatment Plant, collection system, and all associated equipment in an efficient and reliable manner through skilled mechanical and technical knowledge of those operations.
This position, under the direction of the Town Manager, is responsible for planning functions and projects requiring a combination of skills in research, analysis, development review, public presentation, and interpretation of concepts and data pertaining to planning and implementation of the Town of Fraser Municipal Code. Work is performed with general instructions from the Town Manager with considerable latitude for independent initiative and judgment.
Under the direction of the Water/Wastewater Superintendent, perform operation and maintenance functions on the Town’s municipal drinking water production & distribution systems and wastewater collection systems, and assist in operational and maintenance activities in other areas of Public Works, including snow removal, streets, parks & trails.
