The Town of Fraser received a grant from the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) to participate in a Community Revitalization Partnership (CRP) Program. DOLA and Downtown Colorado Inc. (DCI) teamed up to coordinate this program, which involved a two-day technical assistance visit to the town.
The program is designed to provide downtown revitalization and economic development assistance to Colorado communities. Focusing on current conditions in the business district, a team of nine multi-disciplinary professionals evaluated the community and provided information about the strengths and opportunities of the business district.
The CRP team explored Fraser and facilitated community focus groups that included more than 60 residents, businesses, service providers, town staff, elected and appointed officials and other community entities. The two-day visit concluded with a presentation to the public at the Town Board meeting on Wednesday, August 18.

We believe the success of our business community is vital to the success and future of the entire community.
